Morris Mini Cooper (1969) 40000 Original Miles
Welcome to the sale of this stunning MK2 Cooper finished in its factory colours E1 Paso Beige with a Snowberry White roof. This car over the last 18 months has been completely restored to a very high standard with even the very minor details being correct. Having only covered 40000 miles and three owners from 1969 this Mini really is a step above the rest having virtually all its original body panels. Inside the car has all its original trim which is all in very good condition with very minimal wear. This is a matching number car which still retains its FE number, all numbers are correct and can be confirmed with the heritage certificate which is with the cars history.
18 months ago the owner decided it was time to get the car back on the road, the work started with the shell being stripped and then shot blasted which revealed a very good shell with only minimal rust repairs needed. You will see from the list the Mini barely had any panels which is amazing for a Mini of 48 years old!
New N/S and O/S front inner and outer sills (Correct type)
New heritage doors
Replacement MK2 boot lid
New rear valence
Repairs to front corners of floors
The Mini was then treated to seven coats of high build primers and blocked in between coats. By doing this the paint job is outstanding and really holds a very deep shine. Mechanically the car has had both subframes blasted and painted then built back up with all new suspension parts. Original hydrolastic displacers and pipes have been checked over and painted. The brakes have been upgraded to Cooper S which includes the taller master cylinder, servo, discs hubs and callipers. Every part of the mechanical side has been refurbished using new parts or original were need be. Front driving lights have been upgraded to high output which are period for the year.
Still running on its original engine & Box which has been rebuilt, amazingly both didn’t really need much.

This is by far the best Mk2 Cooper I’ve ever seen and driven, you will not fault this car! Getting very hard now to find a Mk2 Mini let alone a Cooper which has not had 10 plus owners and every panel replaced. I believe this is the best MK2 Cooper available for sale right now in the world, try and find another like it. Viewing is highly recommended any inspection is more than welcome.
