Morris Mk1 Cooper (1967) Four Owners From New

Welcome to the sale of this rare Mk1 Cooper finished in Island Blue with a Old English White roof. This car in early 2000 was covverted to a Hill Climbing car and used for many advents thought out the Uk. Some of the parts have since been taken off the car to make it more usable on the road but is very easily put back to Hill Climbing spec. The Cooper is running a very quick stage 2 engine, unleaded big valve head, 276 cam with power max pistons, large oil cooler & radiator, competition driveshafts and brake pads. As you can imagine the Mini goes like a little rocket but also seems to cruise happily at 70mph with plenty more to give. Condition is fairly good but this car is never going to win a concourse advent, this purely is a race car and should remain that way. There are a few areas of rust but nothing really serious to worry about. Over the last few years the car has been off the road in storage not being used at all. We have recommissioned the Mini from top to tail and put 12 months mot on the car.

The history file on the Cooper is amazing! It has all its old log books, heritage certificate, stacks of old bills and recent ones, mots dating back to the 80s to present and lots of old pictures of the Mini Hill Climbing. Its quite rare to see much history with the older cars but this one is the best I’ve seen.

This is a great car for anyone wanting to do a little racing or just a quick Cooper to have some fun in. With prices of the Mk1 Coopers rocketing nows a perfect time to snap one up.
