About Cambridge Motorworks

Cambridge Motorworks was founded by Blake Elkins in 2009, originally as Cambridge Miniworks. What started with a passion for classic cars has grown into a trusted independent garage and used car dealership serving Cambridge and the surrounding area.

That passion for classics has never gone away. We still look after a large number of classic cars for our customers today, from routine servicing and mechanical work through to bodywork, repairs and ongoing care.

In 2023, we moved to our current home in Wimpole, taking over the long-established Wilshers Garage – a site with a motoring history dating back to 1963.

Today, we combine those traditional garage values with a modern approach to car sales, servicing, MOTs, diagnostics, repairs and bodywork.

We're particular about the cars we sell. Every vehicle is carefully selected and prepared to a very high standard through our own workshop. We don't believe in cutting corners – we only want to sell cars we're happy to put our name to.

Customer service has always been at the heart of the business. We're proud of our 5-star reviews and an after-sales service we believe is second to none. Our aim is simple: look after people properly and they'll want to come back.
